Concerning the latest Xblaze (1.1.3) for Adium: You forgot to change the version number, it still says it's 1.1.2 on both Adium Xtras and your own page.

Xblaze for Mac OS X 1.1.3 is now available that fixes the problem. The iPhone update should follow along shortly after it is approved by Apple.

The most recent release of xFire seems to have broken xBlaze.

Contacts are no longer visible as online (only friends of friends show one contact only).

Re-installation of the plugin did not work.

(Note that this issue is mirrored in the iPhone app as well).

Could you please update this page and the support page? Adium is already 1.4 (stable). Besides, the forum URL is invalid. You could add "friends of friends playing to the features".

On a completely unrelated note (yes, twitter that is...) it'd be nice to have the option to turn off/hide the friends of friends playing. If this preference is already there and I just couldn't spot it, please point me in the right direction. Thank you.

I don't know if this has occurred to anyone else, but the only people on my friends list are people from my Xfire group/community. Friends who are not in the group do not appear on the buddy list. Is there a fix? Help would be greatly appreciated.

hmm they didn't got copied to clipboard and maybe this could be a feature of gamedetection.app and after i tried more often i need to say that the appkey is useless for game detection. every start of the same app has a different key. so my idea is dead for now.
console.app is useless too because wc3 didn't send some console output.
just one thing blackfire is able to detect if wc3 or the addon is running.

Yes game detection is going to need an overhaul anyway, especially since the release of steam. As it currently stands, game detection is only looking at the app-name and nothing else. For games like WC3 this causes the obvious problem that frozen throne is started with a command line parameter to the original WC3 app. The same holds true for games that run as "mods" to other games, like Half Life 2. The Source engine games like Portal, HL2 episodes one and two all run from the hl2_osx binary but using different command line arguments to load the relevant game content.

I will be looking into the game detection code soon, and hopefully I'll be able to come up with a solution.

Ps, I don't know if it's a typo in your comment, where you mentioned the application keys are different with each app, your pasted text shows no values for the app keys. Is this correct?

hmm game detection is working but not really accurate imo.
wacraft 3 will be detected but in reality i play frozen throne (add on)

check this out please:

warcraft 3
{
    NSApplicationBundleIdentifier = "com.blizzard.WarcraftIII";
    NSApplicationName = "Warcraft III";
    NSApplicationPath = "/Users/fibric/Library/Warcraft III/Warcraft III.app";
    NSApplicationProcessIdentifier = 7448;
    NSApplicationProcessSerialNumberHigh = 0;
    NSApplicationProcessSerialNumberLow = 1241391;
    NSWorkspaceApplicationKey = ;
}

warcraft3 frozen throne add-on
{
    NSApplicationBundleIdentifier = "com.blizzard.WarcraftIII";
    NSApplicationName = "Warcraft III";
    NSApplicationPath = "/Users/fibric/Library/Warcraft III/Warcraft III.app";
    NSApplicationProcessIdentifier = 7451;
    NSApplicationProcessSerialNumberHigh = 0;
    NSApplicationProcessSerialNumberLow = 1249585;
    NSWorkspaceApplicationKey = ;
}
the appkey is different in common so you can differ which game is really being started

i used game detection from blackfire to show the diff of both games.

well remember the reason am sure they forbid automated bots, is due to the attacks happen to xfire website and client i think they wanna avoid it, but you can try to see if they are willing to let a iphone app to work with there servers

but most good apps like ebuddy as a time out for push that can be a useful idea if push come available limit say 5 minutes or 3 hours of some sort if there a way to lock it i think xfire would agree but i might as well talk out of my hat
