Hey guys,

Just thought I’d give you a bit of a status update. I’ve made a bit of progress since the last update - the main thing is the addition of a toolbar.
The toolbar basically gives access to the Connect / Disconnect and Add / Remove Buddies functions (replacing the ugly square + and - buttons).

Also, I made a start working on the messaging part of the app - the most important part, I think you’ll agree. What good is an Xfire client if you can’t chat?
Although, I’ve hit a bit of a wall with this part, and I’m having some trouble getting my head around how to do this conceptually.

I’ve been able to get a chat window to display when a buddy’s name is double clicked in the buddy list. That’s all well and good, but if you left the window open and double clicked the same buddy’s name, a new window will appear… and that’s not good.

I’m also having trouble figuring out how to associate a window with a particular buddy. I will be working on this, and as soon as the penny drops, the rest should come easy.

So thats where I’m at now. Hopefully more will come soon.
